The creation of my logo:
During the creation of my advertisement, I had to come up with a logo that will represent what I am advertising. As I am advertising against people shopping for animals I am instead I am trying to persuade them to look into adoption instead.
To produce my logo I used a website called ''Pixlr'', but firstly I had to find a picture that would be suitable for my campaign. I searched on Google, ''black bunny silhouette'', but before I found an image I made sure to go to images, then tools and made sure that ''creative common licenses'', was selected as I did not want to select an image that will be copyrighted. Then I proceeded to upload the image onto Pixlr.
To upload the image I selected ''add element/image'', I selected the option which let me upload it from my files. I then selected the file and the image was uploaded successfully. |
After successfully uploading my image I decided I would like the rabbit silhouette to have a small heart, while doing this I thought it was a good touch as it gives the rabbit a little more personality and the viewer would feel more compassionate, in contrary if it was just a black silhouette. To find the heart I proceeded to create a new layer in Pixlr, I clicked the option ''add element/image''. I then clicked the option ''shape'' and scrolled almost to the bottom to find the subheading ''love''. That is where I found the exact heart I wanted to use in my logo.
Lastly I decided that my logo could do with some font, so I added that by creating another new layer and going to the ''add text'' option. After this I wrote ''Adoption Saves Lives.'' in the small text box. After this I was free to customise it to how it would fit into advertisement. I went with the size 145, and the font I chose was ''Bebasneue'' I chose this font because it is very clear and legible.
There are the settings I used for my font. |
Good that you have included screenshots, explained the process and included the technical details.
